Two or more pieces of land adjoining each other can be consolidated or Notarially tied under one Title Deed. The benefit of this arises when for example, a large shopping centre , new sectional Title development, commercial property or even a large home is going to be built over land held by more than one title deed. Once consolidated it will be held under one Title Deed and have one rate number instead of numerous rates accounts and Title Deeds.
There are however certain requirements that have to be fulfilled for property to be consolidated or Notarially tied.
